Ginger Beef Stir Fry With Scallions is a simple and delicious recipe. The beef is sliced thin. Slice up some ginger. Add some garlic and scallions with a few Chinese sauces. Turn the heat on high and sear beef on high heat with the aromatics. This is stir frying in a wok at its finest. You will enjoy eating this dish every time. Ginger Beef Stir Fry With Scallions
4 to 5 oz. of sliced beef
3 tablespoons cooking oil
1/2 cup sliced ginger
6 to 7 cloves of chopped garlic
3 stalks of sliced scallions (green onions)
1 teaspoon sesame oil
2 tablespoons light soy sauce
Slice beef into thin slices. Cooking time is very fast. I like to use New York steak, which is also known as strip loin. This beef is very tender, with lots of flavour. This cut of beef doesn't need marinating.
Preheat a wok or pan at medium heat. Add ginger and garlic. Briefly stir fry. turn heat to high setting. Add beef and sear briefly. Stir fry for 30 seconds. Add sesame oil, light soy sauce and Chinese oyster sauce. Stir fry for 15 seconds. Add green onions and do final stir fry. Serve with hot steamed rice if you like. Enjoy!
