Sticky Fried Rice With Shrimp Sauce. Traditional Chinese Cooking using traditional shrimp sauce. Using sweet rice makes a delicious fried rice. The rice is chewy, fragrant and tasty. Add meat, egg and green onions. Quick and delicious dish.
The recipe is below:

Sticky Fried Rice With Shrimp Sauce

1 cup sweet rice
3/4 cup water
12 tablespoons cooking oil
2 eggs
3 tablespoons meat ie. duck, beef or chicken
3 tablespoons chopped green onions
1/2 teaspoon dark soy sauce
1 teaspoon light soy sauce
1 teaspoon shrimp sauce or paste

To Cook Rice:

Wash rice in cold water until water is clear. For every 1 cup raw rice, add 3/4 cup water. 1 cup raw rice will make 3 cups cooked rice. When rice is cooked, let it steam for 10 more minutes. Put rice in bowl and let cool overnight.

To Stir Fry Rice:

Heat pan or wok at medium heat. Add cooking oil. Beat two eggs in a bowl and add to pan. Turn eggs over and cook half way. Cut eggs into pieces. Add rice to pan. Add meat and green onions and continue to stir fry for 2 to 3 minutes. Add dark and light soy sauce. Add shrimp sauce. Continue to stir fry for 1 to 2 minutes. Serve sticky rice on a nice plate. Enjoy!
