Liu Huanrong grew up in a military dependents' village, and his original aspiration was to follow in his father's footsteps and serve in the military. But he made a wrong turn that ruined his entire life.

Is it true that a black spot on a white cloth cannot be washed away for a lifetime? When Liu Huanrong acquired a criminal record, he believed he could never become a good person in his lifetime. He strayed further from the right path and thought that if he was going to be involved in the underworld, he would be more ruthless and vicious than others. Shockingly, within a little over a year, Liu Huanrong consecutively gunned down several gang bosses, becoming the feared cold-faced killer in the Jianghu community.

Liu Huanrong earned his reputation in the underworld by specifically targeting gang leaders. On one hand, the younger members of the bosses he killed sought revenge, while on the other hand, the police identified him as the number one wanted shooter. Caught between the two factions, Liu Huanrong had no choice but to flee overseas temporarily to escape the situation. However, unexpectedly, he committed a massacre of the Chen brothers in the Philippines.

The number one wanted shooter, Liu Huanrong, was finally captured in Japan and subsequently deported back to Taiwan. He had a heap of cases waiting for him to clarify the truth in Taiwan. The person responsible for interrogating him was none other than Hou You-yi, who served as the head of the Criminal Investigation Division of the Taipei City Police Department's Special Task Force at that time. However, Liu Huanrong remained tight-lipped, despite facing Hou You-yi with hostility. He even openly challenged Hou You-yi, stating that if he had pulled the trigger, Hou You-yi would have died at his gunpoint many times over.

In the past, in the Fangming Hall of the Wanhua district in Taipei, there was a man named Liang Guokai, also known as "Pearl Dumb." He shared many similarities with Liu Huanrong. Both of them were among the top ten wanted shooters and were the number one killers within their respective gangs. Furthermore, the two had a deep connection with the same woman.

While in prison, Liu Huanrong donated his artwork to the Women's Rescue Foundation for auctioning and rescuing underage prostitutes. It is said that he also made charitable donations. That year, including Wang Qingfeng and other human rights lawyers, as well as over 20 members of parliament from both the blue and green camps, jointly pleaded for Liu Huanrong's life, hoping to spare him from the firing squad.
