This is a simple and easy recipe for Homemade Noodles. 手擀面 This is the Biang Biang Noodle Recipe from Xi'an, China. It is also called "belt" noodles because it is wide shaped like a belt. The biang biang noodles is named after the sound of the noodle hitting the table surface. Recipe is below:

Homemade Biang Biang Noodles

2 cups all purpose flour
1 teaspoon salt
1 cup water

Put flour in mixing bowl. Add salt and stir with a wisk. Gradually add water to flour. I like to use the end of a wooden handle to mix the flour and dough. Knead the dough for 10 minutes. Put dough back into a bowl. Cover with a piece of cellophane and let dough stand for 30 minutes.
