List of ingredients: * created by HAPPY WOK ********** 1½ pounds -- pork trotters (aka pigs feet) ½ cup --------- light soy sauce (for meat marinade) as needed ------ cooking oil (about 5 to 8 cups) 3 stalks --------- green onion 4 slices ---------- ginger 2 pcs ------------ star anise ⅓ cup --------- each, light soy sauce & rice wine 3 cups ---------- water 1 Tbsp ---------- each, broad bean paste w/ chili & garlic minced ½ Tbsp -------- each, sugar, Chinkiang vinegar & sesame oil 1 tsp ------------ corn starch with 2 Tbsp water (to mix together) 1 Tbsp ----------- chopped green onion (for garnishing)
