On October 25th and 26th Bonhams Auctioneers via their Subsidiary Cornette de Sain Cyr an auction of the Rousset Collection In France.

This exceptional sale comprising Chines, Japanese, Thai, Cambodian, Indian, and French decorative art was basically sold without reserves drawing vast interest from around the world.

Many of the objects had been acquired 50 to 100 years ago by the venerable Rousset family who were dealers and avid collectors as well as benefactors to many institutions and museums.

It was a blockbuster sale with breathtaking results.
