Raggedy Birds. Looking back over 08-09

Raggedy Birds from 2008 and 2009. Starting out in May 2008 I picked up a paint brush and started doing something I have never done in my life. Trying to paint.
Well, I have worked hard at it and it is all foreign to me.
I have discovered those who love to help and those who delight in Hindering.
Those who talk about it all day.....
and those delightful few who love to get up and get on with it.
Those who try to confuse, and those who simplistically enlighten.
Those who scoff and mock and those who encourage and give example.
Those who Help for a fee and those who Help for free.
Those who need help and those who love to help.
in all I have enjoyed the journey so far, or course, in any garden there are weeds and thorns, but, as always, you hack them down and make your bonfire, this clears the garden for the Peonies, Pines, Birds and Mountains.
It's a fascinating field and one I have no regrets about spending so much time in.
I would encourage anyone who is bored with Western Art, to take a Look at Chinese Art and Calligraphy. WE are all different and it has leagues more aspects than the newer Artistic formats.
