Instruments used in this track particularly for the main parts are the Hulusi（葫蘆絲） and the Sanxian（三弦）. The Sanxian is often mistaken for a Japanese Shamisen due to them producing a very similar sound when played, as well as also sharing a similar name that literally means "three strings". The Hulusi is an end-blown flute with a gourd shaped mouth that produces a distinctly flute-like sound, only more mellow but retaining a colourful tone.
