讀賣巨人昨天以11-3，大比分擊敗中日龍，今天雙方再戰。代打上陣的台灣旅日好手陽岱鋼表現亮眼，在八局下轟出一支陽春砲，日職生涯第100轟出爐，也是本季的第10支。陽岱鋼成為巨人現役第四位敲出百轟的球員。

可惜巨人軍打擊並不突出，全場6支安打無法有效串連。反觀中日龍在六局上，靠著央聯八月份MVP Viciedo的安打，以及福田永將的三分砲，單局攻下四分，也奠定了勝跡。終場以4-2，擊敗讀賣巨人。
