►剧情简介：
1950年，刚刚诞生的新中国面临着一场异常严峻的生死考验：一直觊觎着新中国政权的美国政府一方面派遣第七舰队悍然驶进中国的台湾海峡，一方面出兵朝鲜半岛，把战火烧到了鸭绿江边。为了新中国的存亡，毛泽东决定派遣中国人民志愿军赴朝作战。为此，美国总统公然对中国政府进行核讹诈，美国军队开始了核武器的部署，准备对新生的人民中国实施核打击。新中国的最高决策层清醒地意识到：中国人绝不能永远生活在他人的核讹诈之下。为了中华民族的未来，中国人必须主宰自己的命运，必须拥有自己的核武器。中国政府顶着前所未有的巨大压力，终于作出了研制自己的核武器的伟大决策。1966年10月27日，导弹核武器试验成功；1967年6月17日，第一颗全当量氢弹爆炸成功；1969年9月23日，成功进行第一次地下核试验；1970年1月30日，“长征一号”火箭发射取得圆满成功；4月24日，第一颗人造地球卫星成功发射并进入预定轨道……

►Synopsis：
In 1950, the newly-born new China is facing an extremely severe test of life and death. The US government, always coveting the regime of new China, sends the seventh fleet flagrantly into Taiwan Straits of China on one hand, and dispatches troops to the Korean peninsula on the other hand, bringing war near the Yalu River.
For the survival of new China, Mao Zedong decides to send the People’s Volunteer Army to enter DPRK. For this reason, the US President publicly conducts nuclear blackmail to the Chinese Government. The US army starts to deploy the nuclear weapons, preparing to conduct nuclear strike to the new China. The top decision-makers of the new China are clearly aware of that the Chinese couldn’t always live with the nuclear blackmail from other countries. For the future of the Chinese nation, the Chinese must be able to decide their own destiny and have their own nuclear weapons. With the unprecedented huge pressure, the Chinese Government finally decides to develop nuclear weapons. On October 27, 1966, the missile nuclear weapons are tested successfully; on June 17, 1967, the first full equivalent hydrogen bomb is exploded successfully; on September 23, 1969, the first underground nuclear experiment is successful; on January 30, 1970, Long March I rocket is launched successfully; on April 24, 1970, the first artificial earth satellite is launched successfully and enters its target orbit...
