Uncle Ping's wing room was finally erected this year. Starting from fixing the wood, it took almost half a year to erect the house! This is also considered a major happy event for our family. Moreover, coincidentally, the master who erected our main house 37 years ago is the same person who worked in Uncle Ping's wing room now!! Erecting houses like this has become very rare nowadays, as most of the village's labour force has gone out to work elsewhere. Therefore, a crane was used, but none of the traditional ceremonies were omitted; these are all traditions passed down from generation to generation by our ancestors.
