Thi Mai is a Fairy Tale Character I created in a story way back in 1981. She and her saviour Chellah walk through lands of imagination to find their quest. She is 15 inches tall he is ten feet tall.
This series of clips have been created across a span of about 4 years and in order to make space for the current "Short", the ANimated Chinese Painting Exhibition wherein I include my own Real world Chinese Paintings on digital silk, (I am currently editing and configuring iCloth in iCLone for this very purpose.) I dleeted a whole ocean of large AVI's and compiled these tests here.
Chellah is currently the next project and will be complete with Clone Cloth v.3 as soon as I can get organised enough and finish the current ANimation Exhibition.
In this series of clips I simply display some tests I did ages back.
As I am into the 3D world Chinese Painting Exhibition, medievals etc, I thought I would weed out some videos of old and make space for the new AVI's before final editing. So amongst all these were many clips and tests of Thi Mai and I thought I would tie them together. She is form Version 1 iClone all the way through to version 4 iClone. And now she is really ready for animation.
The CHinese Painting exhibtion I have finally completed the final set for the paintings and it looks wonderful. The trouble is, every time I think I have it wrapped I find another idea in my imagination and I have to start creating it. Simply as an alternative way to diaply my paintings. I hope you enjoy this walk anyway. Thi Mai is a character I wrote about in 1981 in an old Story where She and Chellah a huge semi ogre of some ten feet tall, walk through the olde lands of Fairy Law and lok for the Gate of Imagination.
