Chinese actress and pop singer Fan Bingbing, who starred in X-Men: Days of Future Past as Blink, joined the cast of Warner Bros' upcoming monster movie "Meg', featuring Jason Statham in the lead role . The film is to be directed by Jon Turteltaub of National Treasure fame, and will be released in 2018. The film follows deep sea diver Jonas Taylor as he works to save a team of Chinese scientists trapped in a submarine while being stalked by a 70 foot 40 ton Megalodon.
