原本預定的歸化洋將測試人選Dexter Pittman，卻在此時傳出傷情，由於阿基里斯腱受傷的關係，本屆瓊斯盃都無法出賽。

所幸中華藍士氣未受到影響，總教練Charlie Parker表示，Pittman的空缺預定會由另一歸化測試人選John Florveus頂替，也希望本土長人能夠挺身而出。-
