This video is from Yam Kim Fai's 10-th anniversary Special with Leslie Cheung and Liza Wang singing the most watched Cantonese Opera in the world, the song, Fragrant Sacrifice.

帝女花 is a Cantonese Opera that is made into a first movie in 1959, starring veteran opera singers, Yam Kim Fei (任剑辉) and Bak Suit Sin (白雪仙), where Yam plays a man in all her movies.

Little history about the play:
The Emperor of the Ming dynasty had just approved of his future son-in-law who won the heart of his daughter with poetry. Later, the Ching army had attacked and took over the palace. The Emperor of Ming dynasty committed suicide with his family except the Princess Cheung Ping, who had survived. So the new Emperor of the Ching dynasty adopted the Princess and continued with the grand wedding. The newly-weds take their own lives on their wedding night to show their loyalty to the Ming emperor.

The song, 香夭 (Fragrant Sacrifice) is the grand finale of the opera, the couple are dressed in exquisite finery, sung on the wedding night. The Princess and her groom express their love for each other and their loyalty to the former dynasty, the Ming dynasty, before they take their own lives, drinking poisoned wine.

I have tried my best to do the translations in English. It cannot be translated words for words.
