《KAWS:HOLIDAY》台北站於2019 年 1 月 19 日在展覽現場舉行了盛大開幕式，由 JJ 親自製作的開場音樂揭開序幕。 台北站主辦單位為熱愛 KAWS 作品的知名藝人、製作人林俊傑(JJ)的 JFJ Productions，及長期合作夥伴、主辦及策展單位 AllRightsReserved。總長 36 米的巨型坐姿 COMPANION，為 KAWS 至今最大型的藝術作品。

Debuting in Taipei, in partnership with JFJ Productions, JJ specially prepared an exclusive overture for KAWS:HOLIDAY. KAWS:HOLIDAY is a monumental COMPANION, measuring 36 meters long. It is the largest sculptural endeavor by the artist to date.
